A 2am alarm call wasn’t the most welcome sound but 54 weary bodies managed to checkout, eat their boxed breakfast and make their way to the airport ready for the four hour flight to our final destination of the tour Naperville near Chicago (well almost 54- Aaron Haslett and Michael Harper were a little late- hence they were modelling the grass skirt all day).  Some travellers in the airport recognised us from the previous evening’s Baseball game! Tiredness was obviously playing a part as during the flight the boys were as quiet as they had been all tour. They also didn't admire the fantastic views that were available as can be seen in the attached photod.

We arrived in the town of Naperville mid afternoon and the temperature was noticeably higher than Seattle and San Francisco. The humidity was much greater too. All breathed a sigh of relief when the university accommodation had air conditioning. A quick bite of lunch was followed by a visit to the American Football stadium within the campus for a game of ultimate Frisbee. This allowed the boys to blow away the cobwebs ahead of their final training session tomorrow and final matches on Tuesday. Whilst we were playing the college American Football team came to practice and the college kicker had a little competition with a few of the boys to see who is best kicking a rugby ball and American Football.

A last visit into town to get snacks or something else to eat was welcomed before an early night was had. We have three busy full days left and as mentioned earlier there is training tomorrow before a visit to the Naperville man made beach.

Well done on the daily updates and photographs! Who won the kicking competition?
